Li's new family

Couple days ago I got a call from my former student with a desperate request to fix her computer. Apparently, she was going through updating process when computer locked up and that was the last time she had it on. Then she had a baby 3 weeks ago, so she had her hands full. After futsing with the computer (Mac G5) for a while - DiskWarrior didn't fix the disk, then I booted from my external drive and tried re-imaging from my G5 image, but that didn't work either. And my install disks were corrupt... So I will need to go back with a good set to get her going... Li fed me delicious rice rolls and a vietnamese sandwiches, and gave me another set to go! So maybe on Sunday I'll manage to swing by.

Holy Cow! Time for Mysore again!

Another year has passed! I have been playing long distance marriage for the past 3 months, and now we both are going to India again! I have not been practicing regularly lately, so I am looking forward towards steady daily practice. Also, looking forward to seeing all the old people and friends! My wife is less excited going to Mysore, but she is still happy to see me! I am dusting off my cameras and getting ready them for action! Never a boring day in Mysore! Can you tell I am excited???
