Couple days ago I had a good fortune to participate in Violetta's and Coen's wedding. Guruji was performing the ceremony in the main shala, and he seemed to have a great time. What a fabulous occasion, with all the people and Patabi Jois to boot!

But to look fabulous in an Indian Sari is not easy - there was at least half an hour spent with Anu and 2 other girls putting it on. It involved multiple safety pins, and expertise that comes with years of wearing experience. Basically, kids, don't try this at home. ;)

There is our happy group after the ceremony, getting ready to go PARTY! Yes, there even was beer! (very unYogic, but Coen has raided all the stores in Mysore and collected all the cold beers he could find. Great job!)
After an evening at Anu's, where dosas were plentiful and company was divine, some people headed out to PlanetX for even more excitement (can you say Indian Disco?). But being Friday, and me having 7:30 lead class on Saturday, I have passed. Others lived to tell the tale (and catch up on sleep after the class. It is nice to be young!).
